After a day of reading about the archeology search for Troy, I decided it was time to take a break and continue to write Tattoos, Bones and Death. I had already written most of chapter two earlier today while having lunch so finishing it didn’t prove to be a problem. Today’s chapter consisted of exploring the mother-daughter relationship between my main character, Angela, and her mother, a witch, Eleanor. The Aunt, Anna, made her appearance and she didn’t help the situation at all.
The chapter had conflict that is, in my humble opinion, one of the backbones of a true story. Otherwise, a story can’t be interested without some conflict. Thanks to this heated chapter, I was able to reach the required minimum and more of today’s word count. You can read the chapter here.
