Today is the first day of NaNoWriMo 2014 and the first day of the long struggle for 50,000 words. I started the day off at 9:25 by grabbing a notebook from my bookshelf, a green pen and started writing. Truth be told, I hadn’t even planed out the first sentence of Tattoos, Bones and Death. I just started writing and that is the beauty of this month. I don’t need to think about making the first chapter look good. All I needed to do was to write and that’s what I did. Thanks to that hour, I was able to get more than enough material to work with. I can’t wait to keep writing.
I have typed up the first chapter and have updated the word count of nanowrimo.org. I posted the chapter here.
